In Switzerland tax is decided at three levels: Confederation, canton and municipality. The municipal multiplier is the most visible lever from one municipality to the next.
| Municipality | Canton | Municipal multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Cologny | GE | 25.00 % |
| Genthod | GE | 25.00 % |
| Vandoeuvres | GE | 27.00 % |
| Collonge-Bellerive | GE | 28.00 % |
| Corsier (GE) | GE | 30.00 % |
| Rongellen | GR | 30.00 % |
| Anières | GE | 31.00 % |
| Chêne-Bougeries | GE | 32.00 % |
| Greng | FR | 32.00 % |
| Pregny-Chambésy | GE | 32.00 % |
| Céligny | GE | 33.00 % |
| Plan-les-Ouates | GE | 35.00 % |
A multiplier is expressed as a % of the simple cantonal tax: it is not a tax rate, and a low multiplier in an expensive canton does not necessarily mean a lower burden than a high multiplier in a cheap one. The personal tax calculator, which accounts for the cantonal scale and your situation, is not available yet.
